Radons has a long track record of community service, including 20 years of military service and as an employee at Canada Post. She has invested years of hard work in community organizations in Regina, such as the United Way and the Regina District Labour Council. Being engaged with the community through volunteering has given Radons a strong understanding of public policy and taught her the value of listening to the community.
Her Priorities are your priorities:
- Affordability: As a mother of two grown children, I remember trying to work minimum wage paying jobs and struggling to make ends meet. Since then, the cost of living in Regina has continued to rise, and more and more people are struggling - including my daughters. If elected, making City of Regina more affordable will be my top priority.
- Accessibility: I strongly believe that city councillors should be accessible and accountable to the constituents they serve. As president of the RLDC, I have focused on building relationships with community groups and I will continue this important work as your city councillor. I commit to providing a regular newsletter that keeps residents informed of the work I do on City Council as well as responding to all residents concerns in a timely manner.
- Inclusivity: Every single person in the City of Regina should feel safe and welcome. As your city councillor, I will work towards implementing policies to end homelessness, and putting forward policies which will create vibrant communities.
